script errors uploaded

Hey all

I was playing this morning and all of a sudden I started getting MULTIPLE scripterror notifications from GoHere for Lolly Racket. I found her at the beach stomping her feet while trying to get into the water. I used MC basic "go home" action on her, but I'm not sure what was causing her issues. I just uploaded a zip of all the scripterror files I could find on her, there were about 100 reported but only a few in my Sims 3 folder. I hope I did it right. Any help appreciated.

Yes, Lolly is having problems there. She keeps getting pushed to do various things (attend a party, swim in the ocean, go home) but she can't route because she can't spin into whatever would be the appropriate outfit first. That seems like an unusual requirement for routing, except obviously for the swimming thing, but we can't see what she is currently wearing or attempting to spin into.

At the very least, I would MC Reset her and then run DE's Fix Invisible Sims to reassign her to her current outfits if it detects that any of the assignments themselves are faulty. But she may have been subjected to "bad CC." Or she may just need to be given an entirely new wardrobe if you want to spend that much time working on her.

I have to ask though, is there a reason you are playing on Patch 1.57? I'm not going to check all of your NRaas mods to make sure they are compatible with that version exactly, but most of them are "old" in the sense that you aren't getting any of the bug fixes and enhancements put in that exist for the up to date 1.67 (ugh and yes 1.69) versions. The support we can provide for the older versions of these mods and on prior patch levels I'm afraid becomes pretty limited.

Hi Igazor

I will reset her and do DE fix invisible sims and see if that helps

I haven't updated my game because I'm afraid of a major problem that would cause me to have to reinstall, and I've lost my original 2009 base game disk. I'm currently looking for a (cheap) pre-2012 replacement disk and as soon as I have it, I plan to update to 1.67. I'm still launching my game with the .exe. I avoid the launcher and Origin like the plague.

All my mods are for 1.57, I promise! I'm very careful to make sure everything is appropriate for the patch level I have.

Thanks again for your help. :)

Okay, but should you feel the need to reconsider before then the EA SuperPatcher to bring a game up to 1.67 is pretty painless and tends to work remarkably well.

(of course just ignore the suggestion to update through Origin)

It says Lolly's Special outfit is broken but she's not an occult. Does she have a buff that changes her appearance? Like sun tan or a supernatural toad and things like that?

@sittingbear - Neither of those look like pre-2012 to me. The boxes shown are the white ones with five plumbob sims on them, those are the newer ones that will require an Origin tie-in. I know the "specs" say the date of release for each was 2009, but it's difficult to determine which versions are really on offer there. Or have I missed something?
