I got this mod to stop my sim using taxi boats to cross between islands in Island Paradise. I want him to swim. I read it doesn't work in v43 and I should try the beta, but the beta doesn't seem to be available now. I'm using what's now the latest version - v45. It's not stopping the taxi boats. I set "allow boat routing" to false, then told him to "go here" to another island, and he used a taxi boat.

The instructions you got to use v44 beta would have been from many years ago before v44 was fully released. It is now the current version of the mod. The v45 you found that is now in beta testing would have the same code except for the improvements it adds to the door filtering system, so it should work (or not work) exactly the same as v44.

It is possible that taxi boat suppression in particular is just not going to work out in an island world. But that's all we got from here. Other players would have to tell us if they have a way to suppress these things in Isla Paradiso in particular.

I've just decided to use "swim here" to a point near where he's going.
