A while back I encountered a colossal error of gargantuan proportions. I was playing in Oasis Landing, when suddenly, the entire town seemed to explode. Script errors and sims resetting nonstop, so much so that the error log went over 200, with a small gap where I passed the game successfully to think "WHAT THE HELL?"

By the time the errors stopped, half the town had been deleted, included all but one of the family I was playing. I saved the huge error log for eventual uploading, its been uploaded as "Weird worldwide doomsday error"

I'd love to know what on earth happened that day. Reloading my last save did not cause the error to happen again, so it seemed to be a one-off error apocalypse

One of your teens had a wish that somehow lost it's assignment to them but was still in the wish panel. That caused things to explode. Dreamer has checks to stop EA from raining on your parade.

The sole survivor of the error was a teen, wonder if she erased her family with that. Thanks for looking into that, ive been curious about that bug ever since. So I take it Dreamer is another crucial bugfix mod? I tend to only use those.

I wouldn't say the error occurs often but as you have seen when it does the game is over. It's really up to you if you'd like to use it

I'll give it a try later. Doesn't seem to be a large gameplay alterer like SP or Careers
