Hey! My game has been giving me a headache lately, and I'm guessing it's because of some script error that Overwatch detects when I load my save ..however, I have no clue how to read the xml file (is there a way to see which mod or cc that causes the error??) Got another one in the same save as the one above. Played for about 10 minutes with a family and then it crashed while I was in Stylist CAS. Not a RAM issue, it wasnt close to 3+ gb ......

Much better, thanks. I see three issues.

1 - You have the Smoothness Patch MC package file in play. That structure has turned out to be totally not compatible with NRaas and needs to be removed. LD, its developer, has since removed the MC package component from the available downloads at MTS.

2 - You appear to be jumping into CAS/Stylist seconds after having loaded up the game. Script mods like MasterController (and most of the others here) need a few sim minutes of game clock time to run in order to fully load.

3 - Overwatch is also complaining about a potentially corrupt custom pattern. But I would try to address the first two issues above first, as this might be a false positive on corruption caused by the Smoothness Patch MC package.

I removed the files that I downloaded from Mod The Sims - Smooth Patch 2.1
When I go into the game, the same error comes up. The launcher still looks a little different, the check mark for the LD mod is gone, but the "BYpass launcher" checkmark thing is still there. I remembered I downloaded this as well Mod The Sims - LD's Sims3Launcher (EA App/Origin) (1.69)
However, I can't find those files in the Bin ..so I have no idea how to get rid of that..

Perhaps this post at MTS helps. Knight is also a member here at NRaas, so maybe he will see this now that I've paged him and be able to offer more informed assistance.

As for LD's Launcher, this may sound harsh but you might be on your own there. I mean, you have replaced one or more files from TS3's Program Files (as opposed to that which is in the TS3 user game folder in Documents). Did you not make backup copies of what was replaced first as advised to do on the item's Description page? If not and you wish to remove LD's Launcher or anything else that involved tinkering with Program Files, you will need to uninstall and reinstall TS3 entirely. I think, that is unless the EA App offers a Repair Game function that now actually works.

In any event, I was really only advising to remove the MC package file. Not the entire Smoothness Patch. But it's fine either way if you can get the removal job done properly.

Well, I've backed up everything ..except the bin folder:) So that was smart of me.
Anyway, I guess I'll try to repair, and if that doesnt work I'll re-install.

And I know you did, but the same error popped up after I removed the MC. Then I removed entire Smoothness Patch, still same error message.. soo I thought it was the launcher as well, but idk.

You've actually shown us more than one error. If it's the Overwatch one about the corrupt custom pattern, then it's possible you really do have one or more of those installed. The only fix for that is to find the custom pattern or the CC that seems to have it included in its sims3pack file (if you do use sims3packs for CC) and get rid of it. But if it's the MC one about CAS generally, then...well, that would I think be a different matter.

Can you provide a link to the exact error you are still getting? Or is it still both/all three?

Used origin's repair game and the bypass launcher checkmark is gone.
