Hello! I'm a long time lurker, and this is my first post, so I wanted to start by saying a big thank you to everyone at Nraas for all your help and contribution to the Sims 3 community!
Regarding the error: I have a save that was starting to be a bit choppy, so I went to do my usual MC Reset Everything. However, this time I received an error in the top right corner that read "Fridge: Exception of type Sims3.SimIFace.ResetException was thrown." Then 10 more notifications popped up behind it while everything was being reset. Once it finished, and it told me how many objects were reset, I clicked the check and the game crashed to desktop.
I saved before resetting, so I opened the game and tried again. Same result - MC Reset Everything leads to 11 errors being thrown and then the game crashes to desktop. I've never had this happen before, and my search of the Forums didn't yield an obvious answer.

Are any script error logs thrown at the time this happens? These would be files that begin with the name ScriptError accumulating in your TS3 user game folder in Documents (where your added content, mods, and saved games are). We would need to read at least a few of these in their entirety to help determine what the error actually is. The on-screen notifications otherwise are like ErrorTrap saying "Hey there!" but do not give enough information to be actionable.
If you do have some error logs to share, if you could please drag and drop their file icons onto a response on this thread and let the site's upload manager do the rest. Or, if that doesn't work, you could zip them together (if more than one), upload them to a third party file share host like DropBox, GoogleDrive,etc., and provide a link that grants us access to read them.

There were not any script error files thrown at the exact time the crashes happened. I do have a ScriptError that occurred about 10 minutes prior to the first crash (it was generated upon startup of the save file), as well as another ScriptError that was also generated at startup of the same save file prior to the second crash. I will attach both to a response on the thread. Thank you for taking a look!

Yeah, those are just routine ErrorTrap cleanup logs. I don't see anything in there that would cause a crash, but there are a lot of Deref and recursions listed for one log. By any chance has this game save "seen" (been played with) an EP that is not currently in play -- meaning Supernatural or ITF as those are the ones I see missing?
That's really me grasping at straws though, because EPs like those two would more likely prevent the game from ever loading if they were ever removed from play. Our developer should take a look to see if he can get any more information from those logs.
In the meantime, could you try this all again but with only NRaas mods in play (drop Ani's fridge mod temporarily also) and the script cache cleared? The goal here would be to help pinpoint if corruption is creeping into the game save by way of another mod or if the cause is really the particular fridge in question.

No, I did not have Supernatural or ITF. Alright, after a couple hours of testing, here's what I found out.
I have my mods separated into three folders with NRaas being one of those. I removed my first folder of mods, deleted the scriptcache.package, and retested MC Reset Everything. It worked as intended with no exceptions thrown. Just to be sure it was a mod in that folder, I placed the folder back into my game, tried again, and sure enough it threw exceptions but did not crash to desktop.
I removed the three newest mods I had recently added in that folder, one at a time, and it still threw exceptions (but did not crash). I then decided to remove just Ani's fridge mod (which was one of the mods in that folder), and it worked fine again!
So, once I removed Ani's mod, MC Reset Everything worked fine, no exceptions thrown and no crashes. I tested it twice to be sure. Luckily, MC Reset Everything didn't crash the game after the initial two times.

The only thing I can think of offhand is that perhaps you have an outdated version of Ani's mod in play? The ones from us here are updated, the ones on MTS are not.
If that's not it, then it's pretty safe to say that her mod is not playing well with your game and it should stay removed. You might consider trying icarus' Cook With Any Ingredient mod as it also has a no shopping from the fridge feature. Although it is a further reaching mod so it would be understandable if some players do not care for the rest of what it does to cooking processes.

Alright, I spent a few more hours testing multiple different saves and situations with Ani's mod! For each method I tested, I quit to desktop and reopened the save. Here's what I found.
What did not work:
A.) I downloaded the latest version of Ani's mod from NRaas just to see if that was the issue. The save still threw exceptions when I used Reset Everything.
B.) Switching active households first and then resetting
C.) Resetting just the fridge using DebugEnabler first
D.) Deleting the fridge altogether and then resetting
What did work:
A.) I opened two different Sunset Valley save games, used MC Reset Everything (along with Ani's mod still installed), and had no issues!
B.) I went back to the save file giving me issues, reset the lot using MC Controller first, and then used MC Reset Everything, and it worked - no exceptions thrown!
C.) At the in-game time I was trying to reset everything, all sims in the household were sleeping. So I cancelled all their sleeping interactions, then used MC Reset Everything, and no exceptions were thrown.
D.) I opened a save of this same family from 6 sim hours earlier in the day, reset everything, and no exceptions were thrown.
Perhaps it has nothing to do with a fridge? And for some reason, it did not like all my sims sleeping when I did a reset everything. In the three other save games I tested, I reset during the day so all my sims were awake. My current save giving me issues was the only one where all the sims in the house were asleep at night.
Not sure if I'm any closer to understanding what's causing this, though!

Hi! And yes, it has four or so leftover dishes and a decent chunk of produce, fish, and meat from the grocery store - no custom content foods or dishes, all stuff that came with base game/expansion packs/store content. I assume the fridge causing the issue is the one on my active lot.
