The older versions of the Smooth Patch work fine. They don't cause any known issues. Don't use that MC integration mod that causes issues.

Following the procedure Igazor described should have fixed the issue for sure.
But, I use that for sliders (Because I heard one sims 3 youtuber that custom sliders need MC Integration

The point was to move the .package files that come with the Smooth Patch, not to remove any NRaas mods. There's a Smooth Patch-related mod that makes changes to CAS, and another mod that comes with it that's supposed to make the first mod compatible with MasterController. But this doesn't work properly, at least not all the time, so both of these need to be removed for troubleshooting purposes, and they should probably stay removed if you want a stable game.

Normally, when you enter CAS through an EA menu, you get the EA standard CAS even if you have MC installed. The only way to get the MC version of CAS is to use the MC command on a sim. The MC Integration add-on changes this: it makes sure you enter the MC version of CAS even if you use an EA menu to get there.

That's why it's recommended if you have a lot of sliders, more than EA standard supports: you don't want to be in a version of CAS that won't recognize some of your sliders and will therefore revert your sims to not having them. You can leave MC Integration in along with the base mod. It's not that you need MC Integration to use custom sliders at all; it's that too many sliders means some can get dropped if you don't use the MC version of CAS.

For testing, please start with only NRaas mods, absolutely nothing else, and see what happens in a new save. If everything is fine, add back another mod folder and test again. If the problem then shows up again, split the contents of that folder and retest until you find the culprit.

Agreed, no one here meant to suggest removing MC Integration. They meant the Smoothness Patch MC component.

I'm going to be a bit more direct now. Why are you not doing what so many folks trying to help you out are suggesting by starting testing with NRaas mods only? There seem to be three choices, and where this thread goes from here will depend on your answer.

1 - You do not understand what we are all saying.
2 - You do understand but just haven't had time to try it yet (although you keep telling us about other things you are trying instead).
3 - You do understand but do not wish to test your game with a fresh user game folder and NRaas mods only and then proceed with subsets of your other mods. not including the Smoothness Patch, so you are just not going to do this.

Okay. We believe that one or more mods from another source (not NRaas) are causing the issue you describe when starting a new game. At the very least, we need to rule that out. The way to test that is to start a test game in a way that is always going to work correctly and move on with further testing from there to find the actual culprit. That could be with no mods at all, but we know that NRaas mods do not cause this problem for the general user so the suggestion includes leaving those (and only those) in for the first step of testing.

All this discussion including removing script logs, blaming NRaas mods without any evidence of them causing such an issue, and finding different variants of the Smoothness Patch mod is not helping. In fact, it is prolonging the process. Please return to this thread once you have had time to complete the NRaas-only test, if you then require assistance with the next step.

Another option no one has mentioned yet, surprisingly, is to just play the game without the pre-made EA sims as fellow residents in the world. I don't mean leave it unpopulated, I mean some combination of placing sims from the household bin in Edit Town, creating and placing some of your own households, or using NRaas StoryProgression's Immigration functions to populate the world. The game is certainly playable with other sims substituting for the pre-made families. But it would for various other reasons be better, at some point, to find the real cause of the issue.

And finally, we have another question that should have been asked in the first place. An answer is required here in order to continue. You have mentioned needing to "download" the game again to reinstall it. Download from where? You mentioned on your MTS thread that you run the Steam version of the game, but it has the wrong internal build number for a Steam install. What is the source of your game and its Expansion Packs?

I'll be honest and admit that I'm only 14 years old and I downloaded it from Mr. DJ, it's because I can't afford that much and I don't have the money to pay for it, so I'm sorry and please forgive me please about that🙏I'm planning to deactivate/logout my MTS and this account, I was trying to find help from this problem and planning to quit the community.

Thank you for your honesty.

One of the reasons that we cannot support pirated games is that the effects of the changes/hacks that the suppliers make to the games to make them playable for free (or nearly that) are impossible to predict or work around. The other reason is that it's theft and we cannot support game piracy here at NRaas.

So I am sorry that we cannot be of further assistance other than to say I hope you can find a way to obtain a legitimate version of the game in the future. Thread locked.
