Not surprising, I'm afraid. You still have LD's Smoothness Patch with MC file in play and as has been pointed out to you previously, that structure just plain does not work and breaks sims. We cannot assist with that if you keep the Patch with MC File structure in play.

I'm sorry, but honestly would like some feedback here. What else can we do to make announcements like this one and this READ BEFORE YOU POST message on the very board we are on at the moment more visible?

sorry didnt realize that the smoothness patch could effect outside of cas, and i have read both but did not know this issue was a LD S.P. issue, thats why i came here because i didn't know. thank you for the help

It might not be the S Patch, but that would be a huge coincidence. This sim needs to spin into their career outfit as it's time to go to work, but the outfit assignment appears to be undefined/corrupt. Not in the player-accessed CAS, but still related. Other sim and game errors that also seem unrelated, even more so, can and will arise as sim corruption can spread to things outside of their outfit managers.

Edit: I believe this sim is also pregnant? Could be a factor but I never had any problems with preggo sims in the political career going to work in maternity clothes that I can recall though...

she is pregnant right now, i have no maternity leave enabled. maybe an issue with that?

Ah we both posted about that at the same time.

But my prediction is that the patch/MC file combo is still going to break something. Eventually. :(

If using broken Smooth Patch files is the hill you must die on, so be it. One can do whatever they wish with their own game (Once upon a time, when modding a very different game, I used to cluster incompatible weather mods together because somehow- amidst the insane overwriting- it looked better than anything else available. Which was worth the fact that rain sounds would play in interiors when it wasn't raining outside. I digress...) but that's also the point you alone become responsible for your own Frankenstein's monster.

It's just a little impolite to let the reminders fly by while continuing to seek assistance from the incredibly patient users here :)
They deserve the little bit of effort it takes to test if something still occurs without incompatibilities in play, yes?

In this case I may have jumped the gun a bit. If a sim is pregnant to the point where they are "showing," and they aren't being given parental leave from their job where a vanilla game might have given such leave, then they do require a maternity career outfit or else the above errors will happen.

But, if the game were a patient brought in for treatment, it is indeed kind of difficult to ignore the huge deep machine gun wounds on the torso when being asked to take care of an ingrown toenail.

(disclaimer: I never went to medical school, but my first roommate in college was pre-med so I feel qualified to use such analogies) :)
