Hello,
I just started new game in Dragon Valley. However, when I want to move NPC family from one house to another, I get big blue error screen and then game crash. It throws an NullReferenceException.
I have some nrass mods installed, some store content, Mod the sims mods. However I checked everything by Dashboard before merging by S3pe in two files (nrass, other stuff). What can cause this error? I never meet with this before..
PS. I checked modes separately, every one of them worked. Looks like some modes cannot be use with each other... But shouldn't dashboard say that there is conflict?

ErrorTrap is a Core Mod, a relatively rare thing for TS3, one of only two on offer here, and should never be merged with other mods. Actually, the practice of merging Script Mods (which is what most of NRaas mods are) is a poor one as well for different reasons.
In any event, we really need to read the script error logs in order to help determine what is going wrong there, if any such error logs are being formed prior to or as the game crashes. ErrorTrap doesn't usually crash the game when it's installed correctly, but rather "traps" and reports on errors as designed and often prevents the game from crashing instead.
The script error logs are xml files that being with the name ScriptError and accumulate in your TS3 user game folder in Documents, where your saved games, mods, and other added content are. If you could, please drag and drop the file icons of any recent script error logs to a response here and let the site's upload manager take over. If that doesn't work, you could also zip them together (if more than one), upload to a third party file host, and provide a link that grants us access to them.

Big blue error boxes are from Awesomemod and not ErrorTrap.

Oh, those big blue boxes! I think some other popular mods like some of Buzzler's will display errors that way also. While snapshots of errors reported on-screen during gameplay aren't generally helpful, in this case seeing what we are talking about might have given us (me) a shove in a better direction for troubleshooting.Chain_Reaction wrote: ↑August 20th, 2023, 5:20 amBig blue error boxes are from Awesomemod and not ErrorTrap.

Thank you all for answers! I don't have awesome mod installed, I tested all mods one by one, then combination the ones which might cause conflict. It looks like one mod for store content and knitting mod caused it...which is strange it my opinion, but well as long as it works.. It took whole day to find it
By the way, now when game is starting I'm getting all rabbithole errors (propably careers mod?)
"A null value was found where an object instance was required"

That usually means you have a custom career or after-school activity in play that requires an EP or some store content (like the violin) that is deemed to be missing or not loading. But again we would really need to see the script error logs, if you are getting any, to tell for sure.
