I've been having some issues while traveling. I'm sure it's caused by outdated mods, I'm sort of working with whatever I can find right now. Basically, whenever I travel and try to complete a quest, the final action will glitch and won't take even though I get the dialogue box. So when I "deliver documents" in France, I'll get the Sim response where they're like "oh thank you for solving this mystery," and then I'll get a script error right after. The next time I go to find a quest on the board, the one I supposedly just completed will be back on there, and the documents will be back in my inventory.

It might also be worth mentioning that last night or the night before, I had to go back several saves and reload multiple times before my sims would show up. It kept loading me into an empty world. This happened after I was trying to go home from France (but I'd traveled to France from Egypt, if that matters.)
Please help!

There are likely a couple of different not necessarily related things going wrong here, but this can't be helping. If you traveled from homeworld to Egypt to France, the next step should have been to return to Egypt before going back home. Generally speaking, 3+ point travel even with the Traveler mod is not great for the game's stability at all, even though there is at least one WA quest that seems to require it. Does it really not work if you just go back home first and then initiate a new trip to France from there?zoda98 post_id=87611 time=1645490601 user_id=23788 wrote: This happened after I was trying to go home from France (but I'd traveled to France from Egypt, if that matters.
Anyway, it looks like you are playing the newer 64-bit Mac version of the game. There are so many things wrong with that version that mods cannot fix that I would have to say if world travel still works properly (without the particular quests) and you can still get enjoyment from the game while avoiding the other more hopelessly broken elements, then you are far ahead of the curve there.

Did someone say... Mac?
Yeah, travel transitions are extra broken in the Mac version of the game. I'm not sure why—every time I test someone's save, their sims arrive home intact with no special interventions by me—but there's clearly a pattern here. I haven't seen any weirdness around the quests themselves, but then igazor's explanation covers that.
Anyway, I just showed up to agree with igazor that if you get get travel transitions to work when going directly from the sims' homeworld to another world and back, you're already ahead of the curve.

Afraid the one script error you provided is a standard correction log. If you are getting an actual error, please provide the correct file.
