Woohooer and Snorkeling

Post by icarus_allsorts » August 19th, 2014, 2:02 pm

Just realized that Woohooer replaces SwimHere.SnorkelDefinition with its own custom version, which according to the notes is there to bypass the world checks in the original interaction definition. It still has the problem that the original definition has of appearing (greyed out) on every surface if the sim is in a bad mood which really should be altered I feel.

I'm curious about the tuning alterations in the OnPreload though. SwimHere.Definition and SwimHere.SnorkelDefinition is set to allowed for pregnant sims, which seems unnecessary since their default ITUNs already allow pregnant sims to perform them. If the intention is to always allow pregnant sims to snorkel though, the original SnorkelDefinition Test method has an explicit block against pregnant sims which the custom version doesn't change so I'm really not sure what the intention here is.

I've ran across a lot of those head scratching things in his later work. I think he'd just had it but was dragging along until the final EP. You can fix it up if you'd like :)

Okay, it should be on GitHub by tmr. What do you think about the pregnancy block though, should it stay or go? Personally compared to all the other potentially lethal things a pregnant sim could do, snorkeling seems absolutely tame to me.

It seems his intent was to remove the block so axe it. I don't think we'll get too many complaint letters for that. :)

Okay done, took out the tuning changes as well since they seemed unnecessary
