First, I had to share a LMAO moment in my game. My Sims were at the gallery and while they were still downstairs I looked on the second floor to see where to send someone next and one of my townies was peeing in the urial "art display"!
I get why this occurred, I mean, to the sim it was just a place to pee, but it really tickled my funny bone this morning and I laughed for a good minute or two.
Now onto my question: Is there a way to increase the amount of money Sims start with from the Edit Town page? I know about the starting fund stuff in Nrass mods, but it did not seem change anything from when I create a new sim or sim family. Most of my homes cost upwards of 50K so no one ever has enough and I often try to keep a cheap house available to plop Sims into and then cheat-increase their funds, go back to ET and then move them into the house I want them. It's such a pain and I just wondered if we can do anything.
LOL moment and a question...

As long as you have one cheap house available the easiest way I found was CTL+Shift+C to open the cheat console and type in freerealestateJohnL83 wrote: ↑August 26th, 2019, 12:13 pmMost of my homes cost upwards of 50K so no one ever has enough and I often try to keep a cheap house available to plop Sims into and then cheat-increase their funds, go back to ET and then move them into the house I want them. I know there is way to change the starting cash but I can't remember offhand on what to do since I never tried to do it.

I think its this Managing-Finances#How-To-Change-Families-Money-In-CAS
But I use freerealestate too when placing a new sim or family. This way the cost of the house does not effect the cash they have.
But with the retuner option, you can set the starting cash in general, 20.000 is really not much
Great question, must adjust this in my game too now.

Thanks for that link C-Dark. I've just tidied the entry up a bit so it reads correctly now.
JohnL83: I believe you would want to change the kStartingFundsForFamily value, at the bottom of the list that pops up, after you've clicked on CASLogic.
