So Antony will be staying in MH and his GF will be staying with him, giving up heirship for the love of her ghost!
How romantic, yeah, let them share life and eternity together.

I would like to mention both of you and your information in my story as a caution to others about the possible issues.
Of course, why not. However, I still hoped that you would try to move with the ghost, because the result of the experiment would be useful for me too.

I may try it in a test game as it interests me too! I'll keep you posted on how it turns out!

By the way, I just remembered something interesting. Glitches occur with the grave of the active ghost, but everything should be fine if the ghost is inactive. From my past experience: I saved a family with a house to the library (bin). There was a girl in this house who was buried in the backyard, she was the eldest daughter in that family. I brought this household back to the new game, but even after these actions, the relationship with her relatives was preserved. So I suppose you can send your ghost to the afterlife and, keeping his grave in the luggage of a living active character, successfully emigrate. After that you will revive it safely thanks to the scientific institute. Have you already had a quest with revival?

Thanks for that tip as well. I'll have to keep that in mind and give it a try when I test the traveling with ghosts and see if that changes him in any way. I haven't done a quest with a revival yet. Do you mean the Oh my ghost opportunity? In my current game which is a town jump, my family is on the 8th town and traveling with 5 deceased family ghosts. At the end of the challenge, I'm thinking of reviving all of the ghosts in the family! But that won't be for awhile yet as I have 18 towns, 19 if you count Adventurland! And my plan is to go their last and have my family, incuding the resurrected ghosts, fill the town!

unable to date active ghost---reasons?

Okay, I got really curious about what would happen if Antony traveled. So I moved out the Frio grandparents and had Kimberly ask him to move in. He finally accepted so I could check him out. He stayed a yellow ghost after the move in. But he didn't have a tombstone in his inventory. I was hoping that would mean travelling would be safer for him...not the case!
Once they got to France, he showed up just fine, but was no longer a yellow ghost just looked like his human self that I saw in Stylist. His character in the game was laughing and happy, but both his icons had the biggest frown I've ever seen on a sims face! And that frown never went away no matter how happy he was in the game. I cut the trip short, though I did save there as they got engaged and heard chimes! Once they got back to Midnight Hollow, Antony's character became the yellow ghost again, but his icons stayed human. No idea what's up with that. If I'd played longer maybe his icons would have changed back. Anyway, I was curious about the whole Salas ghost family so I switched active households and played them for a bit. Both EA created Jay and Tatiana had their tombstones in their inventories and the option to go back to the netherworld. But Antony's existing sister, Frieda, who starts the game as a toddler did not have her tombstone, neither did Antony's born in game younger sister, Tricia. I decided to check Frieda out in Stylist and she shows up in there just like Antony, in her human form. After leaving Stylist, she was her original yellow ghostly self. So then I took her into Edit in CAS via NRaas -- and she showed up with her status as 'ghost'. I didn't touch this setting at all. Just wanted to confirm it showed up. Well, to my shock, when I get out of CAS, Frieda is no longer a yellow ghost but is now human! Again with that permanent fierce frown, just like Antony got. Like they are shocked and saddened by losing their ghostly selves! So just going into Edit in CAS makes them lose their ghost status. I did use NRaas add occult to make her a yellow ghost again and after doing that she had a tombstone in her inventory.
It was an interesting experiment. But I'm glad I made the decision to have Kimberly and Antony stay in MH instead of traveling and town jumping to other towns as keeping Antony true to his original genetics means keeping his ghost form. And I don't know if his frowning human icons would have ever gone away and they were much too disturbing to have to look at for two more towns!

In the stylist's room, they can look as alive for the simple reason that the stylist's room doesn't support the ghost format. In the last game, I got a ghost without the necessary patch or the supernatural. In CAS, it was displayed as live, but this didn't affect the ghostly functionality. If you are concerned about icons in the relationship panel, you can clean the save, using s3pe or Save Cleaner by Kuree. And yes, I also lived in Midnight Hollow, but I successfully edited this family without losing tombstones. That's strange, isn't it?

It's not that I lost tombstones, it's that they never had them to begin with. And I have no idea why. I only played the Salas family to check their inventories and only the EA created parents had them, not the pre-existing daughter or the born in game ghost children. CAS did show the older sister as a ghost for her status but as soon as I left CAS she was no longer a ghost but human. And I never touched anything in CAS at all. And they were in their original house. The icons I was referring to were not in the relationship panel but the ones down the side for your active family. Antony and Frieda both got huge pouty sad faces after losing their ghost genes. Another odd glitch.Unfortunately this means not being able to add ghost genetics to my family as I'm not even sure Antony would have them without having a tombstone. I'm going to move his GF from my active household over to his and see if they have kids via SP before it's time for my family to move towns. If not, I may Instant baby or pollinate her just to see if a ghost baby happens. Will let you know!

That's so interesting... In my game also was born a boy in this family. But he had his own gravestone. With this family I had problems of a different nature, but nevertheless I was able to make him and Frida grow up successfully. Are you sure that no modification removes the graves and doesn't clean the luggage completely ? As for the future descendants of your sim and this ghost character, there is a chance to get a ghost is 50%.

I don't know for sure that it's not a mod that affected them. I was surprised to find that Antony had a guitar, a bass, a piano, and a drum set in his inventory, but no tombstone. I guess I could remove my mods (all I have are NRaas ones and a lighting adjustment one so the town's not so dark) and try a test with a new MH and see if the exisiting children have tombstones. But with Antony not having a tombstone does the game really recognize his ghost genetics enough to pass them on? His older sister Sandra got married in game and I'm hoping she has a child soon to see if it's a ghost one. I know that when I played Moonlight Falls, the yellow ghost in that town, Violet Slymer, had a child with a werewold sim and he was a ghost, but they were never active so I have no idea if he had a tombstone. Do you know if there's a way to check non active sims inventory to see what's in it?
