You could always check and then quit without saving.

Babies looking exactly like parents????

I decided to follow that bit of sage advice and check them out in CAS and it didn't harm them at all, so no need to quit without saving.

The grandfather's skin tone is indeed on the white to black slider! Of course, he's on the white end, close to the palest skin tone.

The ebony twin is about 3/4 down the slider bar which was a surprise as I thought she'd be closer to the black end of the spectrum, being so dark.

When I checked her father's skin tone, I found out he was on a brown slider, 3/4 of the way down! So though she inherited her mother's white/black slider skin, I'm going with the intensity being due to her father's genetics. If Sims 3 genetics works the way I think it does. Probably not, but that's my story, literally, and I'm sticking to it!

But the first born twin surprised me the most when I realized she's not brown at all, but gray and smack dab in the middle of the slider!

I couldn't resist checking on this greenie nooboos skin color as well, as I'm hoping to marry in a greenie child from HS into the heir family.
One of those white/black slider girls could possibly end up with little Tobias Bellucci and he's not just pale green but on a green slider as well! So definitely an interesting mix for gen 11, if they end up together.
