Pretty much the entire point of this thread was explaining that plant dormancy is tied to the seasons, not just the temperature. I think you can achieve what you want by removing Autumn and Winter (or just Winter if you can withstand falling leaves and a brief period of late Autumn dormancy that resolves itself) by using Nraas Tempest to set up distinct weather patterns for the first half of each of the remaining seasons.
That admittedly takes a lot of work, though. I tend to play only two seasons myself in tropical and other year round warm/hot climates.

If you have ITF as well as the greenhouse set from the store, you can build a greenhouse and plant on the grass rugs from ITF. Using planters (from seasons or elsewhere) indoors works as well.

I also play with only two seasons in more tropical towns. I basically use spring as the wet season and summer as the dry season.
My students don't learn much (or more, depending how I handle it), as they basically have half the year off.

Reminds me of something from one of my favorite TV sit-coms, going back over 20 years now. I can just hear one sim saying to the other:Turjan post_id=83190 time=1625525306 user_id=20191 wrote: as they basically have half the year off.
"Didn't you go to high school stupid?"
"Yeah, and I came out the same way!"

I just grow produce in doors now, like gcgrad said you need to use the rugs from ITF. Anyone who needs an example can download this house I uploaded to MTS: https://modthesims.info/d/640345/pine-s ... no-cc.html

Turjan, how did you deal with the watering process using the ITF rugs?Turjan post_id=83352 time=1626770612 user_id=20191 wrote:You can even build a greenhouse just with ITF. I ended up using grow stations over my nectary garden in the basement as the sprinklers didn't work on the ITF rugs.
By the way, your greenhouse is wonderful!
It looks much simpler to build than actually using the greenhouse roofs!

I vaguely remember that I heard about problems with this, but I can actually use sprinklers on the rugs. At least I do so in a greenhouse I have behind a second floor bedroom.deedee_828 post_id=83367 time=1626810140 user_id=18684 wrote: Turjan, how did you deal with the watering process using the ITF rugs?

I often make use of the gardening station though.
Thank you . It isn't complicated, but I had to use "real" walls and bring them down with "constrainfloorelevation false" in order to get those ITF slit windows into the upper part that is needed for trees. I had two temporary pieces of frieze outside of that area to get the right height.deedee_828 post_id=83367 time=1626810140 user_id=18684 wrote: By the way, your greenhouse is wonderful!
