I have carpool enabled for my sims, and the car turns up each day to take them them to work, except for one. The carpool doesn't come for this sim for some reason - and, of course, it has to be my Eco Friendly sim. So he gets a bad moodlet for wasting natural resources for taking a taxi to work. Plus, I have to direct him to go to work (science) or he would just stay home. How do I get the carpool to come for this sim?

Probably the driver should drive to work eco-friendly sim on eco-transport, but, unfortunately, this is not provided in the game. What a pity, I think it would look spectacular.


By the way, then what's the difference, how he gets to work, if the taxi drivers are not considered for the characters (maximum discrimination!)? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but the cab drivers also drive your sim to work. So your ward can still worry about natural resources. It is best to just buy a bike and ride it to work.

My first problem is that the carpool comes for all my other sims and they leave for work. But, no carpool comes for this one particular sim.
Second, because no carpool arrives for this sim, he doesn't go to work when he should, he watches tv etc. I have to actually tell him to go to work. Third, because he's eco friendly, taking a taxi causes him to get the "wasting natural resources" moodlet. I could by him a bike but he still wouldn't go to work unless I direct him to do so. So, I'm wondering why there's a problem with this sim and not the others.

Just moving out and moving back in house didn't help?

Haven't tried that, just going in game soon.

Ah yes, if I'm not mistaken, SP is able to force sims to go to work. If that, can be try to apply this option to your truant.
