Tombstones in Fam. Inventory?
Tombstones in Fam. Inventory?
One of the families that I play had several tombstones in their family inventory. (three to be exact) Not sure what that is about? I have only had one sim that I placed in this newer town die so I'm not sure why they were there. I did the "sell all" option at the same time I noticed them so I only caught one name and I did not recognize that name. I've never had sims get tombstones as gifts, at least that I've seen when getting mail and such, but is there some other reason they would be there? This has never happened to me before so IDK what's up. The family in question is the Daycare family, I wish I had more thoroughly checked their inventory before deleting, but I'm so used to cleaning out the stuff in fam inventories unless it's stuff I've put there, (I rarely use fam inventory) but I did see 3 of these grave markers as they sold off and as I stated I was only able to catch one of the names and it was someone I didn't know.

Might they have been pets? Can you not temporarily revert to a save prior to the Sell All command being invoked to investigate further?
And no, sims do not receive other sims (living or dead) in the mail as gifts. That would be unconstitutional and a total abuse of the municipal postal system.

Tombstones in Fam. Inventory?
Well, that's a missed opportunity. It saddens me that we'll never get to see things like this:
(Not that any self-Sim of mine would actually cover for Alfonso.)The Sims 3 wrote: Tropical Insomniac has received a gift in the mail from Lopita Alto. The note attached reads: "Hey Trop, I'm sending you the mortal remains of my cheatin' husband Alfonso. I saw this and thought of you, because of all those times you covered for him when he was off with that floozie Florita. I hope he haunts you for the rest of your days. Don't ever call me."

No not pets. They were human tombstones for sure and yes, I went back to previous save and all 3 were human remains. The other two I missed before I "sold all" were townies, but not ones I created but apparently from the town prior to me TA'ing the old town. This particular game I did a TA on everyone a couple months ago. When I'd done this I made sure everything was cleaned including the dead. I even did a town-wide purge of other things like a few seed, gem etc spawners, random plates and things left around and this included grave markers. I did inventory and not inventory purges. But I know for sure I'd been in this families inventory more than once prior to this time and there were not any tombstones. Since the mom is the daycare worker she gets a lot of gifts. So IDK why the gravestones ended up in my sims family inventory and apparently no one else does either. LOL Did I actually discover a whole new strange glitch?igazor post_id=62160 time=1546816093 user_id=6716 wrote: Might they have been pets?
