Glad to hear that Nraas will not totally annihilated along with Wikia.
Is Chatterbox part of Wikia too? It contains some useful info, I hope it will be migrated along with all mods and articles.

@muzhik - Sorry to sound picky, but it's Wikispaces that is shutting down. Not Wikia, that's something different.

The messages that exist on what are currently Chatterbox and the other more internal message boards and that had not already been subjected to routine cleanups will be ported over to the new site and will exist on its own message board system, so that would be yes.

Lol, I should have looked at this first. I became all panicked and started downloading every mod on the site. I don't want to see this awesomeness fade into the ether like so many other good mods. They say that once it's on the internet that it's always on the internet, but that doesn't mean it's easy to find. When enough time passes, things seem to disappear. A lot of my favorite Sims 2 mods are becoming difficult to nigh impossible to discover. I'm scared to ever delete a single mod from my games, lest I can't find it ever again.

@chere100 - Of course we would never let that happen. Even if our home here were to get shut down suddenly, without warning (which is not going to happen either), we do have the wiki backed up and would of course set up shop elsewhere as quickly as possible.

One thing to take some comfort in is that the mods are still in development even though the game has not been for years. We just had an <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Careers+Testing">update to the beta testing version of the Careers mod</a> released yesterday, for example. Three other mods had fully released updates a couple of months ago and there is a brand new one still in pre-alpha development. This isn't typical behavior of a team ready to go out quietly without so much as a whimper.

And bumping again since there are still some users out there who haven't gotten the message that there is no need to panic.
