Pretty much what it says up there... when my singer Sim interacts with a proprietor, the "audition for gig" option shows up as a blank bubble. However, it works normally when clicked, grays out normally when they already have a gig at that location etc. The only mod I have installed that pertains to Showtime gigs is TFM's "50% More Singer Gigs/Less Sing-A-Grams", and I checked with Dashboard to make sure nothing was conflicting.

Is this even something to be worried about, given that everything seems to be functioning normally?

Probably a non-issue especially if everything is working as it should. Maybe a translation string gone bad,though. Is your game in English or another language?

The only time that happened to me is when my sim was pregnant. It was my understanding that Chain_Reaction tried to enable gigs for pregnant sims but that feature wasn't working. I have no idea if your sim is expecting or not but just thought I'd throw that out there.

I had blank bubble at one time and finally figured out it was one of Ann's mods causing the problem (can't remember which one) My problem was not related to auditions, but I remember the blank bubble.

My game's in English, and the Sim wasn't pregnant at the time! I do have a couple of Ani's mods (Produce Stand, Have Coffee With Me and No Fridge Shopping) but I can't imagine any of those would touch the show/gig system.

It's a bug in careers mod causing this.

I just noticed this bug in my game, as I don't normally play the showtimes careers. Its been 6 years, any chance of a fix soon? Thank you!

Try the testing version of Careers.
