This is something I enabled in the test version. Are you using that?

And yes having both SP's off will produce this effect too.

I have v269 of the SP base mod, and v269c of the Careers and Population modules (no other modules). I've had them for a while, but I've been playing my current save possibly longer. Should it matter whether the university world has been played before? I haven't sent sims to uni in a while, and I usually assign professors first thing so I don't forget. I happen to have a batch of sims who were going to enroll at a homeworld university, but I could send them to the university world to see if they get professors. That's probably just as well as my sim parents just 'adopted' 8 teen steadies (of 8 of their teen children) when they already have 14 sims in the household, and the homeworld does not like active households that size. University should play ok though.

Are there any settings that would enable or disable professors being assigned? IIRC, the professor career is enabled in the uni world.

You're going to need Professors: Enable Automated Assignment true under home world university options. Should show up in the university world.

Thanks! I'll test that out next trip to Sims University. I have no idea what that's set to in the university world.

@Chain, yes, it works! I had that setting set to false for some reason. I didn't catch when the professors were assigned, but they where there for Monday classes. Awesome.
