Questions about Professional Bars & Additional Homes

@jseg - So sorry for the late response, a little under the weather at the moment.

The ATS3 chests I use are more of kitchen compliments in terms of design. I use the Grocery Bags because I can sit them anywhere in the kitchen and they blend in with the room design. I sit them on the floor, the counter or on a shelf. Since I store only ingredients in them (not cooked foods, that's for the canning station to handle), they work perfectly.

I also use more appropriate looking ATS3 chests in my sim's bathroom which I use as a medicine cabinet. These chests hold elixirs and jars of ginseng broth (removes the germy moodlet/canning station) as well as showers in a can or other things my sims need for their health.

My Traveling Circus is playstyle based. No mod is required except NRaas' Traveler.

This circus was created using the Showtime professions (+ store and cc objects/items and clothing). I play them as one big household, although they are many smaller ones. By keeping them separated (in their own dwellings), I can advance their individual or family relationships for when they are not 'working'. This cuts down on unwanted romantic reactions/jealousies and the problems which comes from those behaviors when sims develop deep relationships/bonds due to constant togetherness.

Also, because I direct them all, I decide when they have to do group practice and prepare for tours. And, yep, they actually do practice for tours! Here's the group in costume and make-up, they look totally different in their everyday lives (as they should).

If you are interested in playing this sort of household, I can tell you what I used to make it come to life. When it comes to creating a clown, the sim you choose must have the 'Sense of Good Humor' trait and build the charisma skill very high. My clown works the crowd of visiting sims to the circus lot and helps raise their mood. She also works one of the 'souvenirs' stands at the circus and patrols the gaming 'whack-a-mole' section.

Oh, I didn't know about these bags, they are interesting.
About the circus, your idea is very good, yes, but I'm not interested in playing with big families, I've been limiting myself to 3 or 4 for a long time, more 3 than 4, that is, parents and 1 child just so I don't have to send anyone with the AI, which is crazy.
I have only played once with a family of 8 and it is a torture, in fact, in my current game I had 2 children, and at one time there were 6 at home, the grandparents and the children with their partners. Never again. For the next generation I will make one couple of these children have no offspring and the other one does, with only one child, so everything will be back to normal xD
As I say, I hate the AI of all the programs, they are poorly designed, they make stupid decisions and they work in general only in "annoying mode", so I have the free will activated only with support for times when I'm doing other things and I don't control them, or to let them chat alone for a while, nothing more. Playing with 6 or 8 you depend a lot on the free will and it ends up becoming an epic chaos.
This is my point of view.
