Gawd. After redownloading and reinstalling TS3 on Steam, now the TS3W.exe won't launch direct like before.
Only the launcher comes up at that landing/intro menu. Where ironically, I was trying to get to several hours ago to install my pack files
And now hitting the start button on the launcher does absolutely nothing. TS3 is dead in the water

Replaced the original graphics.sgr, graphicscard.sgr and configuration.log files with updated Alder Lake patch so game would recognize the high end hardware like before. But complete flatliner in task manager

As I recall though, to get to the 1.67 Launcher, it's best to start the game from the Steam client app rather than a shortcut to an executable.

Does that do the trick or still no dice?
Yes sorry. That's what I meant earlier. I've only used the TS3W.exe to launch the game and added the -w switch in the shortcut

just attempted to launch it directly from Steam. Which opened the Sims3LauncherW.exe as it should. But when the run button is pressed, the launcher app minimizes itself to the tray and runs in back ground. Game doesn't launch.

Just about tried everything. Game simply will no longer launch either from Steam or direct from the TS3W.exe

you guys are running SIms 3 with a CPU that can't "run" the game at least patch it yo.... get the Alder Lake TS3 patcher its not because of .net 3 support, you know that modern Intel CPUs has those E-core and P-Core things? Yeah the game doesnt support that because it wants simpler CPU architechture

basically put any Intel CPU thats passed 10XXXX will not run TS3 use this guide

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1131162350

I can not comment on AMD CPUs yet but I just assume they still work as Ryzen CPUs hasnt split core usages like Intel did

sims3packs will still be installed by the launcher but its better to turn all your CCs into package files so its easier to be loaded by the game that way as long as you know how to make it be recognized by the game

in short anything that clutters your CAS must be just 1 package per category the more it is the game gets longer to load even on SSD

Yes I've got the patch! Turns out a registry key in WoW folder was corrupted. Fixed it and game is finally launching now.

Phew. Was on verge of bawling my eyes out if the game didn't launch after my Win reboot.

Thx again for everyone's help. Looks like I'll have to stick to packages type CC from now on. The launcher is simply too unstable and buggy to install my sims3packs.
