Well, here I throw a new doubt (I have many, specially with mods, but I'm not going to ask them all).
Lately I have been trying to create worlds with the CAW, although they are not a big deal they work great. And now to try something else with the tool a test has come to mind. The Uni world is great, but it's giant, it takes a long time to load, and to play there you are "walking through the air" all the time to get from one place to another.
One day I tried a MTS Uni world, and I didn't like it too much, it's small and it goes well to play, but I didn't like the design.
OK, having said that, here is my doubt: I have started to create a very small world in the CAW and I plan to use the Misty rugs to make a kind of small Uni world, to my liking (it will be simple, like everything I do). I have read how to replace the original Uni world with a CAW one, but, can I travel to the custom world with Traveler and once there sign up for University as if it were a Uni at home? I like to know what I do so as not to corrupt the games or things like that.

Well in the end I created the world and it didn't work traveling with Traveller and signing up on the site while on vacation. Then, I converted the world to a replacement of the official world, using this short tutorial:

The map has worked perfectly, but on the first visit it assigned neither teachers nor students, I returned home and traveled back to the custom Uni world. Then it worked perfect the first and the second visit.
But, here the problem and I hope someone knows the answer:
When the first semester ended, my sim got a grade of outstanding, but in the global deficient. When I finished the degree, the same thing, my sim worked a lot, full performance bar, passed all the exams, study, use objects, what I always do. I have the final grade of the degree with a deficient.
It had never happened to me and I had always gotten an A in Uni with all the sims I have used.
It has the neurotic trait, but I guess the game didn't like my initial abandonment. In the official world it also happens that I am alone in classes without teachers, but I had never gone out and signed up again.
Does anyone know what could have happened? Is the custom world or not? On the first trip I set up a week with the minimum credits, to try the world. I also saw a certain problem on the day of open class, my sim had all the need bars frozen while the class lasted, I hadn't seen it before either.
I know how to fix it with DebugEnabler, but maybe it's my sim that behaved badly in class or something, I don't know, I've never used negative traits with my sims but this time yes.
It's just a test, it's funny.
Edit: well, in order not to delete what I've written, this has to be a glitch of the game, because the graduation ceremony has worked well and when I return home they offer me level 4 of the related jobs, I read it is achieved with the maximum possible graduation, it can't be that a deficient person gives me any of that. I fix it with DE and that's it, let's see when I go again what happens. Still, I'm waiting for opinions. DE not have an option to set "deficient", what "deficient" means here?

You may have more luck discussing at MTS, or wherever else have the original discussions about custom Uni worlds, as it's well beyond the realm of NRaas now that Traveler is no longer involved.
It has also been a while since I've played Uni and a few of the terms here are unfamiliar on what exactly they're referring to. It worked imperfectly as-is, so a number of hiccups isn't too unexpected. Keep many save backups in the future
It's possible you may have been able to set it up through Traveler if you'd invoked a homeworld change, in order to use it as a homeworld university- visiting as a vacation was likely the shortfall, which has the world functioning like a WA destination.

In this game I'm testing things endlessly, it's so customizable that it's nice to use it, even if sometimes things fail I have a great time, I have infinite backups.
In this case I'm not going to restart, my neurotic sim gets too stressed in the rabbit hole to sign her up for a normal job, as always, I'm rich and partner of several business, so I have no money problems and he will be a busker, no more.
This test of the custom Uni has been a lot of fun and I have loved how it has worked, more than the official map that I find boring the time I spend moving from one place to another and I don't like the sims that are there either.
Finally I won't touch anything with DE because even if he says "deficient" what he has given me is the same as with an A, so it's an unimportant detail.
Right now I have added a new sim to my playable family, so I will go back to that custom Uni to try again, without ever resetting it or leaving there without finishing the semester. Let's see how it is.
It is not necessary to register in MTS since I am not registered there to ask this, I would like to know what "deficient" means but it doesn't matter, but if it still doesn't work I return to the original world, no problem.
