Is Recurring should definitely only be used on services that actually have a daily schedule, like maids. Services that respond to something specific don't need to recur.

No, I don't. And there are some services that just happen, like the uni mascot. I don't use services much either (you broke it? Repair it!), but here I wanted to make sure everything runs smoothly as I want to share that savegame.
