One of my sims was, out of nowhere, abducted by an alien. Unfortunately my sim is a teen and a girl, so no alien babies. So I'm just going to make it happen anyways.

What mods do I need and what settings do I need to have activated for her to get pregnant? Can I just pollinate using NRaas Master Controller, or do I also need Woohooer? Does CmarNYC's pregnancy mod conflict with woohooer in any way? I've already got that for some previous interactions that I needed to sort out. I'm not planning on making this a thing in my game. It was just a totally unexpected alien abduction and I want to introduce some drama.

I've already downloaded some teen pregnancy clothes, so I should be good to go there.

Cmar's Pregnancy Controller mod is fine to use with Woohooer.

In case you are not aware, alien abduction pregnancies are a different thing from regular ones. In the case of an alien abduction pregnancy, there is no genetic data shared from the human carrying the baby, they are only acting as an incubator to bring an unborn alien baby to full term. MC Pollinate and Woohooer concern themselves with regular pregnancies, where there have to be two parents (genetic donors) to create babies.

So there would be a path with these mods for an alien to impregnate a teen human (non-alien) the "old fashioned" ways, but not by abduction. What you would have then is a regular pregnancy with the baby standing to inherit only half of the alien DNA that one with two alien parents would have. Depending on how much of their DNA is alien as a percentage, you may still end up with a human baby.

My sense is that alien abduction scenarios are core-blocked by the game for teens and there might not be any way to mod around such a block. But our developer would have to confirm or dispute that when he catches up with us here.

I did not know that! But actually that's okay. I'll just get her pregnant with the alien that abducted her. Can I just MC>Pollinate? Is that sufficient or do I have to have other mods and options on for it to work?

You're kind of in undocumented territory here. Not sure if Pollinate (or the other choice, Instant Baby) works on teens, so give either a try. You will however need to specify the other parent (genetic donor) who is actually in the world and probably as a resident at least temporarily so their genetics will be available for use when the baby is born.

If you are using NRaas SP for story progression, then the sim will need to have on Sim Options or be in a caste or household that has under Caste or Household Options both Pregnancy:Allow Can Be Pregnant and Pregnancy Participation enabled. Otherwise SP will silently end the pregnancy once it "notices" it. Which way to do that depends on whether you want to allow teen pregnancy generally or right now just for this one teen.

If you are using EA progression or something else, then I'm not sure and again you'll have to give it a try. The game, unmodded, is not set up to support teen pregnancies.

Woohooer is a romance manager. It doesn't really have any say in the matter here as the teen is not being romanced by or woohooing with the alien.

I played through teen pregnancies on occasion without SP installed, so that part does work. But I think a mod is needed to allow teens to give birth, or at least there's something to that effect on the documentation page for Cmar's pregnancy controller. Woohooer would cover it.

puzzlezaddict - Yes, that makes sense. I mean, we are really bucking the trend here as the game was never designed to include teens in this kind of activity, so there is the potential for things to go wrong that those of us with the full slate of mods almost always in play never really get to see for ourselves.

Well I just went ahead and "pollinated" her. The only thing that threw me was when it asked for the second parent. Normally when I search for aliens it brings up the list of like five or six that live in my town somewhere. This time it just said "successfully pollinated" Fortunately the other parent is the alien that did the abducting.

And the pregnancy has been going fine. She got all the appropriate moodlets. She switched into maternity clothes autonomously. The only weird thing is that none of the adults in the house have commented on her sudden pregnancy. lol.

*sigh* I guess I'll download woohooer now if the consensus is that's the one necessary for her to give birth.

Update: My sim is still visibly pregnant, but the display pregnancy information is no longer working. I have it set to only show the mod options IF the sim is already pregnant. So it might be okay. But I'll keep you posted.

Update 2: Everything went fine. She gave birth just fine. Now she has a green baby boy. Good thing her mom is a stay-at-home so she can finish high school.
