Is it possible within one of the NRaas mods or some combination of them to limit or enable actions based on time of day or season condintions?

Would it be possible, as an example, through Woohooer and Retuner (I think) to allow female fae to use "try for baby" on only other female sims during a specific season or time of day or moon cycle? Even if it only really applies to active sims, that's fine. I realize that there would be little actual difference between this and just enabling same-sex "try for baby" through woohooer. But its about the flavor. Besides, I don't need the inactive same-sex couples in my town popping out babies.

I know, I know. There IS documentation. I've looked through it and it's clear as mud. I will continue to look, but if someone has done it or just knows how that would save me a lot of trial and error. I know that story progression allows you to do some wacky stuff. Creating castes looks like it has unlimited possibilities, but I currently don't know how I'd use it exactly.

The short answer is 'not quite', as being that specific is a little beyond the scope of what you can do without a script mod to separate the interaction. However, it wouldn't be too difficult to switch this functionality on and off manually with Castes- so you can make it available for inactives and user-direction during the desired time window.

The two that are relevant here will be StoryProgression and Woohooer.

In NRaas \ Story Progression \ Caste Options, add a new caste. I called it Fae Fertility.
Select Caste:Automatic and confirm- some more options will be added to the list.
Change Caste:Priority to 1 or higher
Change Caste:Gender to remove Male
I also changed Caste:Age to remove the ages below Young Adult and Caste:Species to only Human - not sure if this is important, but just in case.
Then the important part:
Under Pregnancy: Allow Can Be Pregnant Caste select Fairies (which I think is there by default, let me know if not). This tells this caste (which is auto applied to all females) that all fairies, including female ones, are valid targets to sire a pregnancy with.
If you want the fairy to be the one that carries the baby, I think adding Fairies to Allow Participation Caste would do the trick.

As it is, this caste will allow female-female pairings where one is a fairy to be considered when StoryProgression is pushing pregnancies.
Whenever you don't want this to be valid in the off-season, just select the caste in Caste Options and switch Caste:Automatic back to false.

There's an extra bit needed for it to be available for user-directed:
NRaas\ Woohooer \ Try For Baby \ Species: Human \ Allow Same Sex Try For Baby - switch this one on/off in tandem with the above.
Also make sure Woohooer \ General \ Link To Story Progression is set to True.

The 'Try For Baby' will be available for all couples, but if I recall correctly, it should check StoryProg for rules on whether a pregnancy is possible- meaning the only female-female pair that will succeed is one with a fairy.

It took me a while to puzzle out the exact combination, but it's mostly set-and-forget.

Having a practical exercise like this clears up a lot actually. Thank you for taking the time to write this up. I'll try it out.
