Almost all of the unhandled references in that one are from Simbouquet's Get to Know Fix, but it would be Chain_Reaction that would know if they're harmful or not.
Unhandled aren't directly harmful. It's just ErrorTrap saying that it found unnecessary data bloating the save but doesn't know what to do with it. The goal is to code in a way that data doesn't get left behind which unfortunately some of the newer mods released aren't doing.

I don't think it's your CC of the sims, because my game didn't crash, even with my many mods and lots of CC installed while testing.
Your game wouldn't necessarily have the CC installed that is attached to these Sims so it could still be.

I still think you have something installed, either CC, mods, or a custom world that is causing the crashing. This game is unstable enough without a boat load of of those. It's not wise to dump large amounts of any of it into your game but rather slowly introduce what you will be playing with and make sure it's all stable before adding more.

Sometimes rampant calls for more RAM mean the town is just too large or its sims' histories are too complex to run properly otherwise.
@igazor - Would you please elaborate on what you mean by "histories are too complex"? To which histories are you referring? Long game saves (many weeks)? Too many sim relationships? Too many memories? Or a combination of factors? Could you make any suggestions to help reduce the chance of this becoming a problem?

Thank You.

memories should be deactivated in the game settings and cleaned with Mastercontroller.

There's no absolutes here. But households with many generations of history and very large, intricate, going back "too many" (not easy to define) generations who have or had lots and lots of relationships will bring more overhead to the game incrementally with each one.

Scrapbook memories will add to the file bloat of any world. Like many players, I like the scrapbook generally but use a mod to control things so they don't fill with meaningless things like "yawned after work" and "went to the park and sneezed" over time. My average adult sim, whatever average may mean, tends to have a couple of dozen important life-changing memories kept in their scrapbook, but not hundreds and there's a limit of 300 per sim anyway.

This has me wondering where it is documented that persisting SimDescription objects causes bloat? It's not something I've ever read anywhere so I'm not sure how modders are expected to know that.

Surely the game just stores a reference to the SimDescription in this case, making storing a SimDescription's ID and looking them up using SimDescription.Find everytime it's queried redundant? How are you so sure it doesn't do this already?

At this point, is there anything else I can do? I'm slowly removing cc and trying to make the files smaller but I keep getting crashes, I'm so sorry for bothering the team with this annoying issue.

Can you provide us your whole mods folder as zip?
Which world is it?
also a save as download please.

But I can check at the weekend, but maybe someone else can test earlier.

By the way, what computer do you have?
Ram, graphic card, CPU etc?

I have 8,00 GB RAM, my CPU is a AMD A6-9500 RADEON R5, 8 COMPUTE CORES 2C+6G 3.50 GHz
and i'm using NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS

Here's my mods folder, I use CCMAGIC for most of my non-mods CC.

And here is my last save, before this i was playing on a custom save of Hylewood, then i switched to the empty world and THEN i switched to my own edited version of Hylewood wich is the one from this save.

Uhm, wait a minute.,Are you sure about this? That card is from 2007 and was never strong enough to run even the base game (some may have had limited success with just that), let alone all 11 EPs. It doesn't have the required VRAM nor sufficient throughput/bus speed. It's also from a series that was deemed faulty (tendency to overheat) so it never performed even as well as it could given the limitations on its hardware.

But that assessment doesn't begin to match what you are seeing when playing other worlds and without the sims under consideration as you certainly would have told us if the game failed to start or crashed 5 minutes after starting no matter which world you were playing.

TS3 is an older game now of course and doesn't really need nor can it use all of the power that a strong, 2023 vintage GPU can provide. But this combo with the R5 doesn't sound like it was ever really a successful one for the game.

I've been playing on this same PC with the same graphic card since 2019, i have all expansions minus into the future.
Never had any crashing problems like this one, even when playing on large world's with more than 60 sims + pets.
