Creating new self-employed careers

How difficult is it to create new self-employed careers? Is anyone doing that as of now?

I'll be honest, I have no idea. I've never done them and to the very best of my knowledge, I don't think anybody else is, either. From a quick look myself in the past, I have a sneaky suspicion they require more than the standard tuning.
The closest we've come was Arsil when he created his Mangaka Active Career. Unfortunately, I believe Arsil's retired from modding now, which is a shame.
