Hello,

I tried looking up multiple discussions to see if I could figure out how to fix this problem, but for some reason I keep trying to click on my sim, or other sims in uni, and nothing is popping up. I can't interact with them at all. I tried downloading Base-Mod and Academics by Twallan to make the Fairhaven City University usable but it's still not working. Sorry if this was on another discussion, but I'm frustrated. The game worked before I went to university. In game it says, "Nraas selector, sim name"

Edit: I deleted the university files in the save file and overrided the current game files with the backup file... but now I can't interact at all. My sim isn't in uni anymore but she can't interact with anyone. I'm confused. It keeps giving me the same error in game.

The Fairhaven City I know of is a custom homeworld, and a very complex one. It requires that all 11 of the game's EPs be in play. Do you have all 11 of them and does the world function as a proper homeworld? And is this actually the world you are playing or is there a different one out there with a similar name or a variant on it that I am mistaking it for?

A Homeworld University as allowed by the Careers mod is a different thing and has nothing to do with the Sims University.nhd file in a save nor the Uni World that sims by default travel to upon enrolling. It is a university structure that exists within a homeworld (can be a custom world or any EA world, doesn't matter) in which sims can enroll without having to leave home or travel anywhere.

As for the Selector error upon clicking on a sim, we would need to see what the resulting script error log says that would be generated at the time the error is being reported. The on-screen notification alone that there is an error being logged doesn't give us any information to act upon. This is what Selector is supposed to do, it "traps" and reports on errors that would otherwise go undetected and could be ruining the game if corrective action is not taken.

If you could, please drag and drop the associated script log file into a response on this thread or upload it (if you have several, zip them together) to a third party file host and provide a link so we can read what they are saying.

Is this the world you are playing? If so, it should contain a Homeworld University all set up for you to use, but I note that the world is currently third party paid donor content so I don't know that our members here would be familiar with it generally. In any event though, there still shouldn't be any association with the standard TS3 University World that one must travel to in order to enroll in such a structure. So I'm still a bit confused as to where you reference other sims "in Uni" and "before I went to Uni" so perhaps some clarification is still needed.
