Since when does Sunset Valley have a volcano in the middle of town? Oh drats, I loaded up Sunlit Tides by mistake. Guess it doesn't really matter.

Okay, I cannot re-create this issue. Newly started game, let the game clock run for about ten sim minutes, on a teen this is what I get with MC > Sim > Intermediate > Career > School, sorted by the Type column so that the Careers mod schools stick together.


I also see a "Register for School" command on the town's Community Theater with the teen as the active sim.

On a child, I get this:

It appears that you do not have Generations? I don't think that was ever supposed to be a requirement, but as I am on a Steam 1.67 install, I don't have a great way to test this without the EP.

This remains puzzling. We're going to have to turn this back over to Chain, our lead mod developer, who was on this thread earlier. He may have a special debugging routine ro request a file from your game folder to help nail this down better.

For Chain: I am running the beta testing v88 of Careers. But given that there was only one documented change between v87 and v88, and I never had this issue come up before, I find it difficult to imagine that this matters.

Guys, to investigate an issue (because this mod, as I said earlier was working) I’ve just bought generations online - so now I’m waiting for them to be downloaded and I will check this shit again, if there will be same problem .. I don’t know where the issue is again. I will check here again when I download and play again.

Update : have generations installed. Same problem ..........

I've been keeping up with this thread. I have 1.69 and so have a fairly simple way to test Generations. I started a new game in Sunset Valley without Generations checked on the Launcher. I selected the Langerak household and with Parker selected I had the option for him to sign up for Art School at the Theater rabbit hole, and on the computer. The option also showed up with MC. I think I'm running Careers v88 as well (forgot to check before quitting the game). Parker did not have any options for after school activities, which I expected since those come with Generations. From that, I don't think Generations is required for the specialty schools.

But problem i am talking about is still on computer. But “art school” appeared in MC on sim. But there is no music school neither on computer nor MC. THere is school of “peace and love” (???)

Ps. So maybe problem is I have wrong versions of all nraas mods ? Now with generations I have all ep and every sp (but I don’t run game with future ep, 70 80 90 and movie sp). All my nraas mods are “youngest” versions of patches... I’ve run game from cleansed folder with new framework with new mod folder and problem was the same. Downloaded generations - only “art school” appears but only by clicking on sim and MC. No music schools. No art school on computer.

The School of Peace and Love is a boarding school from Generations. The music school is only for children. When selecting a teen, is there an option on the theater rabbit hole for the teen to enroll in art school? I think the child age music school is also at the theater rabbit hole, but I've never sent a child to a specialty school so I'm not sure.
