Woohooer & The Crappy Store Car

Post by enable_llamas » August 27th, 2019, 4:59 pm

Hey, so I've had this in mind forever but keep forgetting to post here - would it be possible to add a Woohooer module for the crappy store car that you have to fix? You know how once it's done you have romantic options in it, but none of the Woohooer settings are in effect, meaning no risky, no teen or teen/adult and no woohoo wish fulfillment. Just an idea, but it'd be lovely if it can be done :)

It should be possible. I actually had no idea you could woohoo in this car or I would have taken care of that long ago. Unfortunately these modules require more time than I have at the moment but I'll note it for doing in the future.

Strangely enough, I was planning on posting something similar. I hope it’s alright if I add my post to this thread, being that it is related.

I’m in the process of building a resort/hotel that contains as many of the woohoo objects as possible, primarily in themed VIP rooms but with some woohoo locations in common areas/on the resort grounds.

I noticed during lot testing that woohoo in the restorable car was not counting towards the Kama Simtra notch totals. I couldn’t figure out why... until I noticed it was not on the list of woohoo locations. Only then did I realize that risky woohoo, etc., weren’t available options for the car.

Shortly after, I noted that the gondola also isn’t listed on the KS skill notch count.

So my reason for posting was to inquire about both the car and the gondola. I was curious if not adding Woohooer modules/KS tracking for either one or both objects had been an oversight, or if neither was possible to do for some reason.

I’m glad to hear that the car might be doable when time permits. Would the gondola be a future possibility as well?

Thank you, absolutely no hurry - just putting the idea out there. :)

And I had no idea you could woohoo in that gondola, lol, that poor gondolier :D

I had no idea about the gondola either. It should be possible. I'll add that to look into as well.

Lol, I think the gondoliers train with the Queen's Guard. ;)

Thanks for looking into it when you can, Chain. Much appreciated.

I have to say that I am a bit amused by the prevailing notion that the gondolier is nothing more than an innocent bystander in these interactions...if nothing monetary or participatory is to happen here, at the very least they should have well-developed (pun intended) photography skills and a very interesting scrapbook to show for it. :)

Are you sure the gondoliers in your game aren’t scheming paparazzi who only impersonate gondoliers in order to get the money shots while escaping the possibility of being Register removed? :-o

I like to think mine are more like stoic body guards standing lookout to ensure that any couple who wants to make some waves is left unmolested—except by one another, of course. :)
