Woohooer Try for Baby Broken

Post by Anua92 » March 6th, 2016, 8:20 pm

Hey all. I know there is a FAQ about this already posted for Woohooer, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to fix it.

So I currently have 10 sims in my household. I know that might be part of the issue (mods not communicating or something). But when I go for the try for baby option, the option isn't there. Risky Woohoo isn't available either. My sims can only Woohoo.

Can someone please tell me how I can go about fixing this? I'm playing a 100 baby challenge, so it's VERY important that I figure out what's going on.

On City Hall or an in-game computer, check NRaas > Woohooer > Try for Baby > Species > Human > Maximum Occupants for User Directed. The default is 0, which means no limit, but perhaps it got changed to something else?

If that's not it, is the intended sim to carry the pregnancy a member of this household? Homeless sims (Service, Role Sims for example) cannot be impregnated.

And finally, with SP there is a cooldown period of 3 sim days by default after a baby is born that often gets overlooked and that, if you have the two mods linked together, could be blocking things. Have these sims had a baby within the past 3 sim days? Assuming you are using NRaas StoryProgression,
NRaas > SP > General Options > Options:Pregnancy > Cooldown:Between Pregnancies > (change to 0 if you don't want this)
(also check Cooldown:Marriage to Pregnancy if that's a factor)

I'm not actually sure either of the cooldowns would block user-directed actives now that I think about it, but they are worth checking anyway.

And if it's still none of those things, report back and we'll have to drag out the larger weapons...er, that is, Woohooer's debugging tool, to see what's going on.

Looking back over my response, also check the age of the sim to be impregnated. Sims who are close to aging up cannot become pregnant if the pregnancy will cross over into their next life stage.

The aging thing actually might be it. I got the message that it's her birthday a little while ago.

I'm currently in another game, so I'll have to let you know when I get back into that game in a few minutes.

It was her birthday that very day? That's got to be it, then. Sorry for all the other noise, funny how some of us think of the complicated solutions first...but let us know when you can. :)

Finally. It took her forever to age! And yes, that was the problem. Thank you!
