Pregnant Elders
I've got Woohooer set so that 'Risky Woohoo' replaces 'Woohoo'. I often resort to 'Try for baby' with my young adults when no new babies are happening. Unfortunately, my elders, since their skills are maxed out, lifetime wishes completed, and retired, are having more babies since they have plenty of spare time to Woohoo. I don't want pregnant elders. They've already had their children, sometimes 4 or 5 of them. And now they are having more. My original couple is up to 8 kids, 5 from younger (I was aiming for 4 but got twins on the last one) and 3 as elders. I wanted the elders around as babysitters for the grandkids and great-grandkids, not their own.

Woohooer has the ability, if the player desires, to unlock certain things but as far as this mod is concerned, an Elder is just another sim. The ability for sims to participate in pregnancy or be impregnated themselves is governed by story progression. Do you have NRaas StoryProgression in play? If so, we will need to take a look at the relevant settings for the Elder caste. By default, I don't believe these things should be happening.

Yes, I seems I did forget asking. Sorry about that. Anyway, I found StoryProgression was crashing the program on loading. Maybe I had the wrong patch version. I downloaded it again, but I have not installed it. I'm having a few problems with computer lag, and I understand StoryProgression uses a lot of game resources so I am a bit hesitant to put it in. I have a new cheap laptop with 8Gb memory, big for The Sims 3 era, but I tend to overstuffed houses, often with more than 20 sims.

StoryProgression can certainly have an impact on game performance, yes. But it (the correct version) shouldn't be crashing anyone's game on startup. You might want to make sure we are really talking about the StoryProgression base mod here, and not the MC Progression add-on module. The latter acts as a bridge between the MC and SP mods and will crash the game if the real SP base mod is missing.
