Null Reference Exception with Woohooer/Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital

Post by SusannaG1 » March 23rd, 2017, 10:00 pm

I got 2 script errors from Woohooer this evening, I think for the same event? Apparently a null reference exception in connection to something going on at Sacred Spleen? (My sim was not there; she was at home.) Is this anything to be concerned about?

These appear to be firing right at startup. I believe they indicate a failure of the menu items to build properly on the Hospital should it be clicked upon, not indicative of something going on in the hospital itself and, if that's right, it may be correcting itself as the game clock moves forward. Or not -- does the hospital remain usable/clickable after this?

But a coder will have to confirm that for sure.

In the meantime, probably not related, but you may want to consider updating Overwatch to v122. Lots of good stuff to be had there. :)

I have not clicked on the hospital since it fired (earlier this evening). I'll have to see what happens if I do.

I didn't realize Overwatch had a new version, thanks.

Yes, it fired at startup tonight.

Have you recently added any tuning mods?

I don't think so? The only mod I've added recently is No Crappy Bunk Beds, about a week ago. This is the first time I've seen anything like this.

From what I see it indicates a mod is injecting an improper interaction but that shouldn't be any of these (that I know of) so not sure where it's coming from. Has it repeated?

I haven't played Sims 3 since the evening this fired, so I'm not certain. I'll probably play it tonight and see if it fires, and also test out the hospital menu.

I don't run very many mods that aren't from NRASS. I have the default 2 mods, some items from "Children Can," No Crappy Bunk Beds, and Snacks are Snacks, and that's it that isn't NRASS. No Crappy Bunk Beds is the only one I've added recently.

Do you also have Twoftmama's Better Night's Sleep mod installed as that one also includes bunkbeds

No, I don't, Sittingbear.

What I can report from tonight's play is that there is a cloud of black smoke in town, and when it's over a rabbit hole, that rabbit hole is unusable. It moves. I've seen it over both Sacred Spleen and the Wilsonoff Theater. I noticed the cloud, but not the problem with the rabbit holes, long before I got the error message from Woohooer. (The only error message I got tonight was the one I would expect - a list of destroyed objects.)
