Linking Woohooer to SP

Post by AngieMF77 » October 12th, 2016, 1:34 pm

Hey, I am struggling with the part about linking Woohooer settings to Story Progression.
What I want is woohoo, pregnancy etc enabled for all teen through elder each way but no same-sex pregnancy. If I link woohooer to SP then different castes don't get the menu to woohoo etc (Changed Caste settings to allow) but if I unlink it, Gay sims get preggo with their same-sex partners, despite the settings in SP and Woohooer disallowing it.
Confused on settings! Help please!

On the linked way, the caste support for the ones you do want to be able to woohoo have to go in both directions. That is if elder --> teen for example, then also teen --> elder. But it's not surprising if it still doesn't work as expected, it never did entirely for all of us. For me the whole thing kept breaking during and after travel.

On the unlinked way, which is the way many of us have to play because of the above, this is puzzling. The one setting Woohooer > Try for Baby > Species > Allow Same Sex Try for Baby > False should shut that right down, for each species. On the SP end, SP > Caste Options > Males > Pregnancy: Disallow Participation Caste > Males (or Allow Participation Caste and then Females only), and then similar for the Female-Female couplings, should (I think) make that impossible even without the link. Note that if you use Allow/Disallow Can Be Pregnant exclusively instead of Allow/Disallow Participation, the sims can still make each other pregnant but SP will shut the pregnancy down a while later once it "notices" it.

Are these the settings you have in place? Perhaps your two gender castes need to be bumped up a couple of notches on their Caste:Priority settings.

Yeah It's puzzled me. I think I've got it sorted now. What I have been doing is clicking on each sim I didn't want conceiving and disabled pregnancy in SP Sim Options.
Thanks for the help.
