Hello. Thank you for this wonderful site!

I can no longer find the "Find Empty Roles" option in Register. Perhaps I'm misremembering where it is, but was it not located under Nraas>Register>..? Maybe I broke something, but I cannot locate the option.

BTW: I've been coming to NRAAS for years! First time asking a question and of course, it's probably a dumb question!

Hi there. We don't rank the value of members' questions here, that's not part of the services we provide. But this one isn't so bad, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 if I had to assign it a number.

If you have Register set to use its version of Immigration to fill role slots, then the Find Empty Roles command disappears because it would no longer make any sense. If Register > Allow Immigration is set to True, then for any available and unstaffed role objects a new sim will be created automatically to take the assignment. Thus none of them would ever really be allowed to be left empty. Where the command is useful and should appear is if you have Register Immigration switched off and intend to use resident or other already existing sims for that purpose.

And just like that...every problem I was having for the last 2 hours was fixed.

You were correct. Register>Allow Immigration>True had been set by me at some point during my game. I switched it back to false and Find Empty Roles showed up as it should. Working as intended!!

Thanks, igazor! I knew I had done something and I knew the fix was simple. Those are the only things I knew, unfortunately.
