Question About the Snuggabunny Baby Swing

Hi, It seems like most sims will put the dumb swing on the fast setting autonomously. Is there a way to tune it or disable the fast setting? Every time they do this, I have to deal with a sick baby. Thanks!

I've just looked in the game's master tuning file and afraid I don't see anything adjustable in there about what makes sims choose fast over slow. There is the difference inthe two "fun" factors, but I think that would pertain to the victim, erm I mean the baby/toddler, not the older sim putting them into it. But I did find the chance of nausea and it looks like that can be adjusted.

On City Hall or an in-game computer,
NRaas > Retuner > Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Store.Objects > Baby Swing > kChanceOfQueasy > (default is 2)

Maybe try 0? Note that I am not in game at the moment so I might not have the path quite right. Also, you would want to try this out on a test copy of your game first, as Retuner can provide unexpected results with untested settings -- maybe this one will make everyone in town queasy at the same time? (doubt it in this case, but one never knows with this game...)

Ok, thanks! I'll save my game first and then test it out.

Hi again Igazor! you did good for not being in game. That path was good and so far it seems to be working out great. I set the setting on 0 and then I had one of the adult sims set it on fast purposely and the baby never got sick. Yay! No more sick baby!

Glad that worked. It seemed logical. But the way this game was put together, "logical" sometimes results in worlds turning into a BFBVFS.
(I'll let readers who don't know this acronym google it as the expected results do fill up at least the entire first page)
