Change Bandname?

Is it possible in Retuner to make inactive residents change their band name autonomously? There are instructions to do so on Retuner's FAQ page but I can't find "Change Band Name" in the YA sim menu > NRaas > Retuner > General. I'm editing the page at the moment so can't go back and check what it originally said, or can I?

It'd be under Sims3.Gameplay.Skills.RockBand but the interaction won't work for inactives.

These are the original instructions:-

Band: Teenagers can have or join a Band
and you can change it, so Inactive Residents can also do it autonomously
Autonomous =True

Nraas/ Retuner/ Settings/ General/ Social Interactions/ Ask To Join Band
Nraas/ Retuner/ Settings/ General/ Social Interactions/ Ask To Form Band
new settings:
<Autonomous>True
<UserDirected>False
<ActorAgeSpecies>HumanTeen, HumanYoungAdult, HumanAdult, HumanElder
<TargetAgeSpecies>HumanTeen, HumanYoungAdult, HumanAdult, HumanElder

and in addition Click any Young Adult SIM /NRA/ Retuner / General
Call or Invite Band Members (maybe it's called differently)
Change Bandname (maybe it's called differently)
- Allow for Teenager
<Autonomous>True

As you can see, they are not in the best format (which is why I'm trying to tidy them up) but it's supposed to be available through clicking on a YA sim. I have actually just found an interaction called "Rename Band" in that menu but are you saying, if that's changed to autonomous, it won't work in reality? What about the "Invite Band Members" interaction? Will that not work either as autonomous? Should I just delete that last part of the instructions? Thanks :-)

I've now finished cleaning up Retuner's FAQ page but the formatting seems to have gone a bit peculiar. It doesn't look like that in edit mode. Can I do anything to improve it? Looks a bit silly left like that.

@Sarah - Having trouble following what happened here, but I just adjusted the first five rows or so. Do they look better now or is that not what you had in mind?

The interaction has no advertising so it will never run autonomously but even if it did, it can't work without user input so inactives would be asking you to rename their band.

The other one I believe you're asking about is Call Band to Location (not entirely sure if that's the translation used in game). That one also has no advertising so it'd never run but if it did it would work correctly. Of course once they called them to the lot they'd just wander off because there's no push for them to do anything after so overall it's moot too.

But overall I believe those are there to mostly note the teenager allowance for teen bands. The autonomy was probably an extra note (but per above, is misleading).

@igazor: Yes, I see what you've done and that works okay for a one line instruction but when there's too much text on one line, it gets pushed over to the right, off the screen. That's why I was trying to do the right hand column like this:-

General > By Object > WashingMachine > Do Laundry (Do Laundry On The Spot)

Allow Age Species > Human Child > True

Allow User Directed > True

Does the arrow (>) mean something in wiki formatting? I thought maybe the one at the beginning of the row was pushing the text over to the right but it doesn't seem consistent all through the table. Row seven looks like this:-

General > By Object > WashingMachine > Move Clothes To Dryer

Advertised Outputs > BeInLaundromat > 400

Advertised Outputs > Dirtiness > 150

Allow Age Species > Human Child > True

which is totally wrong. It should look like this:-

General > By Object > WashingMachine > Move Clothes To Dryer

Advertised Outputs > BeInLaundromat > 400

Advertised Outputs > Dirtiness > 150

Allow Age Species > Human Child > True

Is there any way around this problem? Maybe we could do away with the table altogether? I don't like the fact that the column widths adjust automatically to the text. Is there a way to set them exactly? :-)

Ah ha! It's changed the arrows to bullets! Maybe that's the way to go? What do you think?
