GoHere Open/Close Times Issue

The documentation states that acceptable open/close hours for door locks are 0-23, but entering 0 as the opening time triggers a modal message about invalid values. Entering 1 is OK. So what is the actual valid time range?

Also, the default values are -1 - -1. What does this do?

Hi banque11, the door setting of -1 - -1 means the place is open 24/7. I use these door filters often because I don't want sims in my businesses in the middle of the night. So I usually set the door open time to 1 hour before my shop/ or place of work opens. So if I go to work/ or the shop at 8:00am, I'll set the door open time to either 6 or 7. Then to close about an hour after my work time finishes. So if I work until 4pm I'll set the door to lock at 17 (5:00pm). But, if sims are still in the building when the door locks, they're stuck. So to solve this problem I usually add another door as a back/side door and use the "One Way" door option, making sure the door faces outside. Then any sims caught inside can exit but nobody can enter through that door, if all this makes sense. Hope that helps :) The latest hour you can set the door to lock is 23 (11:00 pm) as far as I know.

I feel like the lack of acceptance of the 0 entry (for midnight) got fixed with one of the updates while the mod was back in beta testing then it got broken again. For now we just have to work around that.

Thanks for explaining the default values. So does the valid value range begin with 0 or 1, if one doesn't use the default values?

The one-way "emergency exit" is a very good idea. Thanks for sharing.

Oops, ninja'd.

@igazor
Thanks. It's good to know at least it wasn't an error on my part.

I would start with 1 for 1:00 am and go from there.

The default values seem to be accepted (in that they don't trigger an error message). Looking forward to the 0 fix. Thanks!
