Download Problems

Hello,
I have recently tried to download the ‘Careers’ mod on my Mac from this site, however every time it has failed. My game is fully patched and I have downloaded mods from ‘mod the sims’ in the past successfully. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong.

Please can someone help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, fellow Mac user here (although I only play TS3 on Windows). The problem is with getting the zip file to download in the first place, not with using the mod once you have it downloaded and unzipped? Or rather, where exactly is the process failing? The file is there for downloading, I just double-checked. Does a more direct link to it help (below)? Perhaps try a different browser?

Hello igazor, thank you for the quick reply,

The problem is with downloading the zip file. An issue arises almost immediately after clicking ‘download’. It attempts to download for about a second, and then fails every time. I have tried countless times. Right now I am using my phone and do not have my laptop at hand, however I’ll try the link you posted as soon as I get a chance.

If it still fails, let us know and also see if you can download any of our mod files. There could be a block on your ISP's end (just guessing now) that is not allowing Dropbox hosted content to come through, and all of our downloadable files are hosted there. We can likely get you what you need one way or another, though.

Dear igazor,

The link you posted seems to have worked; at least the zip file actually downloaded. I'll let you know if there are any further issues. However right now, everything seems to have gone swimmingly.
