It would be possible that in a update Traveler gives a moodlet that is 2d
for example that once the vacations are finished and when you back to home there's a moodlet that says:

Was on vacation

For having been on vacation. Vacation relieve the stress of any sim
+40 Mood.

or something like that.
It would be nice to have a moodlet after vacation like in the sims 4

Oh I dont. WA it gives that moodlet?

I wasn't actually sure, but since you are reportedly not seeing those moodlets then it seems reasonable that they are coming from WA even when the worlds traveled to are custom destinations (not the WA ones).

Originally there was no vacation world travel by way of Traveler without WA present. The requirement was removed with v86, the one just prior to the current one, but it's logical that WA specific moodlets would not have been reachable without the EP.

Indeed you do need the expansion for it's moodlets to function.
