Connected worlds

I was going to just write this in my previous post but decided to make a new post since it’s a little different topic.
My question is..
so let’s say there are 5 connected worlds with traveler and I’m trying to take two of those worlds and connect with a new save.
Is it safe to take out already connected.nhd file and paste them into a new save folder and connect?
I recently heard about fixed EA worlds and I have already connected sunset valley and isla paradiso to my old save. I haven’t really played in those worlds so I don’t have anything to porter from those worlds. I know once I conncect, I can’t add the same world. So I’m trying to start a new fixed sunset valley and move rest of my old .nhd world files into this new save.
