Couples "Arguing"

Even now and then I receive messages about couple's relationships failing because of Story Progression forcing them into "heated arguments near the grocery store" and that "something is definitely amiss!", decreasing their relationship bar slightly. Here the problem: While I would expect this from Sims like the Alto's (Nick is Mean-Spirited and has no traits that encourage romantic interactions with Vita other than Family-Oriented that makes him automatically ask about her zodiac sign.) and Hot-Headed couples, it is problematic when two Sims who would usually get along very well (Like this couple I had temporarily left inactive) "argue". They have no traits that encourage mean interaction nor affairs. Both are Family-Oriented, but one has No Sense Of Humour, but never tends to use the "Bore To Death" interaction on his partner. I've noticed that inactive Sims With No Sense Of Humour all seem to suffer from the same "enemy" problem, no matter how friendly their other traits are. All that seems to fix it is turning "Allow Enemy Scenarios Amongst Family" to false. While I like drama in my game, I think that this is seriously annoying when it happens to Sims who should get along.

Is there a way to stop selected couples from this SP behaviour?

I don't know that those scenarios can be more selective about on whom they fire other than being trait driven. But in my experience, an occasional argument outside of the grocery store is not nearly enough to permanently damage sims' relationships unless they were already in trouble or in a less than stable one to begin with. Couples argue and make up sometimes, or most of them do anyway, and I think SP is trying to emulate that.

Ah, I guess it's just more of a minor inconvenience thing if the SP builds up their relationship back up. Thanks!
