Does anyone know off-hand if I choose say the self-employed collector career and sell those items via savvier seller, will it count towards career progress?  I've used Nraas mods for years but have just started with ani's savvier seller.

I don't know for sure but I would very much doubt it as they are two completely separate mods. I've never played the SE Collector Career so I'm not sure if sims gain progress from the collecting or the selling of the items, maybe it's both. Sorry I'm not much help. Hopefully someone else will have some more insight.

As I recall, sims gain progress from the amount that the collected items sell for.  I seem to recall getting some really nice promotions from selling tiberium spires in the alchemist consignment shop.

Yep, I know it counts selling via consignment/elixer or even inventory.  Might be time for an experiment.  Oh, and sorry I posted in the wrong room.  I like many, are getting used to this new place.  

I don't think we've fully established the guidelines for exactly what kinds of posts go where yet, but I've moved this one to the Careers Mod board.

And this is just where I should have put it, thanks.  And FYI for anyone in the future... selling collected items, rocks, gems, etc via savvier seller does not advance the collecting career.  Actually, my game crashed when someone bought a metal, but I can't guarantee it was one of the mods, my game was running for a few hours and there were a lot of people around.
