I have a question about Fine Art Major and Culinary Career.

When I look at this site (http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Majors#The_S ... rsity_Life), it shows several skills for Fine Arts Major.

If I only chose single major that are related to Fine Arts Major, do I have to have all of skills that shows up in above link?

Good heavens, no. That major does have a lot of associated skills, but your sim doesn't have to have or ever try to have all of them. More than one is helpful because skilling up in any associated skill while at Uni helps improve academic performance, but there is no reason someone destined to be a chef needs to learn sculpting or how to play the drums. You don't actually choose an area of specialty, though. Fine Arts is all one major.

Oh, ok.
So, then I only have to have Cooking skill for Fine Arts Major and Culinary Career?

That is correct. They will get a better score on their Entrance Exam and perhaps more of a scholarship and starting out credits if they have more Fine Arts related skills. They will have an easier time at Uni if they pick up a 2nd or 3rd one along the way and work at it at least a little -- and they do have to use the sketch pad during the once weekly class activity (there isn't an equivalent option for future chefs). But they don't have to pick up those other skills.

Technically, they don't have to know how to cook either. They could get the same degree without that skill (maybe they can paint instead?) and be a chef. They just wouldn't be a very good one to start out -- I wouldn't play it that way, though. :)

@vbc5jknwer: You don't need ALL the skills if your into JUST culinary. However, the sketchbook and the guitar make the sims performance move much faster.

So, I suggest your sim cooks meals at the dorm and in off time learns to sketch and play the guitar. That is if you want them to graduate with honors!
