According to my Origin Log In Screen I have played 4838 hours.

Would anyone else like to share how many hours they have played?

Cheers,

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Yes, according to Steam I have played this game a total of four hours and forty minutes over the past over two year period. That is of course nonsense, but the vast majority of my game time is spent not logged in and unlike with Origin those of us on Steam/Patch 1.67 can bypass the Steam overlay and the Launcher entirely to start up the game. I only log in when I really need to, such as to manage store content or test something with the online system. This is the same way I used to play most of the time for years prior to Patch 1.69, there really isn't any nearly accurate accounting of game time for many of us because of these things I'm afraid.

Either that or I just imagined I have been playing for thousands of hours since 2011 and have just been making up stuff to say here ever since. :)

Since I started playing again in February, I have logged 959 hours. I hadn't played for years prior to that, but when I first got the sims in 2009, I played A LOT (I didn't have children then, and now I have four. I'm not totally neglecting them to play the sims - I often have the game up, but paused, while I go about my day to day business).

I have no idea really. My Steam account says one thing, but I bypass that. When I was laid up after several surgeries over the last couple of years I played constantly, since there was little else other than TV. (lots of binging Netflix too) Now that I am back to work I still play a lot when have free time. So I'm sure since my first download of the game about 3 years ago I've logged into the thousands of hours. I would say nearly half of that time is building homes and community lots. A quarter of the rest is figuring out all the mods, and another quarter setting up towns and dressing my Sims. So my actual time playing Sims and telling them what to do I would say is the least of my time, but even that is still more than it probably should be if I'm being honest. :P

I don't use origin or steam to play so I don't have any way of knowing except if I actually knew how much I played the game I might have to have a strong conversation with myself and take my puter privileges away for a short period of time.;)

And do what instead, exactly, to fill the void? This game keeps many of us off the streets and otherwise out of trouble.

Or, to put it another way, as someone here once said it's either my sims or acquire more cats to take care of. And do you have any idea how many sims I have? :)

My Origin says I've played 1727 hours, but I didn't play through Origin until recently, so I know that's pretty low for how long I've really played.
But with all the things out there, I feel like Sims is one of the better things to be addicted to, no matter if you play occasionally or if you're a simmaniac like me.
For me it's how much enjoyment I get out of my game, my sim families, and the sim's communities I'm involved with, all of the wonderful players out there who share their games and sims, tips and tricks, to make our gaming lives just that much more enjoyable.
