Hi, just wondering if this is possible. I've tried debug enabler, which I thought would do it but didn't see this option available on the menu. I have seen animations using laptops so I know this is possible but can't figure out how.

I just had another idea. Could this be CC? Here is an example at :40 in this video

Maybe I am missing something, but I'm not seeing where that laptop was ever closed. My guess is that it's either a CC laptop or a deco-only one that is always open. I also don't recall sims' usable laptop screens ever displaying the image/pattern that one is. It appears to be a MacBook Pro from what I can see, more evidence that it's a CC prop than an in-game one.

Hi igazor, yeah I want the laptop open so it can look like the sim is using it, don't care to actually see it open. Maybe I phrased that wrong. I figured out AFTER I posted this question that the open laptops must be cc. I've posted on WCIF at MTS now.

So I guess there is not a mod that will make the in game laptop go to the open position or you would know about it? I was just so sure debug would do that!

I have never heard of such a mod, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Most of what DE does, with some exceptions, is really expose commands that EA left in the game with no other way for regular players to access them.
