Not just neat sims can clean house

I've seen this somewhere but when I searched all I found was a mod from 2009 on MTS that is a core mod. Does anyone know of a mod that can allow all my sims to clean house, not just the neat ones?

And congrats NRaas on over a million downloads!! You all rock for helping us so much.

Hi there ZeeGee, haven't seen you over here for a while. I think we may be up to a million and ten on the downloads by now. :)

I use Buzzler's mod for this. It's from 2010 but he kept it updated along the way and it is not a Core Mod. In addition to allowing Clean House for all sims, he rewrote the scripting for the laundry procedure that is usually a part of that, if you have laundry in play, so that (at times) it makes more logical sense.

Hi, igazor, and thank you! That's exactly what I wanted. I'll even try laundry again with this mod. It was such a mess before that I removed all washers and dryers from my houses.

I'll be over here more now. I've found so much useful info in these posts!

Glad to hear it. Oh, and by the way Buzzler's mod works just fine with Nonamena's Super Hampers (only one per lot needed, the rest can be regular hampers though I try to limit those to a small number per lot) in case you use or were planning to use those. It doesn't matter otherwise how logical a scripted Do Laundry sequence is, if the sim in question has 50 regular hampers to empty then the whole Clean House or Do Laundry thing still tends to break down. Or at the very least become more trouble than it's worth.

I still have to groan when a sim doing housecleaning gets interrupted by something or has to stop to take care of their own needs part way through and then resumes a short while later with the Do Laundry thing all over again, perhaps one sim in the house changed clothes since then so there is actually some laundry to be done yet again, but it's still far better than any alternative I've found.

Thanks! I got everything downloaded and headed in game to try it out. It will be nice to be able to use my laundry stuff without having dirty clothes piles everywhere.

I don't remember the name of the mod that allows you to load all your ingredients into the fridge, I think it's the same one that sets the tables and calls household to meals? Anyway, I know it's not a Nraas mod, but I think it's possible that this "clean house" mod interferes with parts of that mod.

Since I downloaded this mod I can no longer put all my ingredients (or best 5 or 10) into the fridge after my sims tend garden. The option for this no longer appears when I click on the refrigerator. Not a huge deal, but something for others to consider if you plan on having both. The options for serving the household at meal time does still work though. Has anyone who has both mods noticed this or is there something I may need to consider doing that will fix this problem?

JohnL83 - I have icarusallsorts.servemeals in my packages. Is that the one you mean? I just use it for serving meals, didn't realize there was an option for putting everything in the fridge after your sim gardens. You learn something new about this game everyday, literally. I'm going to take out the housecleaning mod and see if the fridge option is there. Though I'd prefer to have all sims able to clean rather than being able to put all produce in the fridge, I'd still would like to see if it works.

Yes that is the mod to which I was referring...BTW: it's working again when I went to play today. I'm not 100% sure that is the same mod that gives you the option to place all harvested items, but I think it is. When your sim has any times in their personal inventory that can be placed in the fridge, ie fruit, vegggies etc. you just click on the fridge and you get a few options. You can place all food items, or your choice of the top 5 or 10 best items. This comes in handy if you're into only using the highest quality fruit and veggies. I love the option and it saves a lot of time when my sims have tons of stuff. I love to have my sims garden and cook, so it gets used often. Also I have things set so they harvest when I'm off playing other families so I can return to find all the sims have their inventories full of stuff. LOL it's so much easier to just click and drop it all in!

Anyway, perhaps that was just a small problem on my own game because it's all working fine for me now! :)

I believe the mod being referred to that offers the shortcut to stock the fridge using a sim's inventory by way of clicking on the fridge is Buzzler's Moar Interactions. Seems odd that two of Buzzler's mods might have been conflicting with each other.
