My inactive sims always bring so much food to parties... if it is a feast party it kinda makes sense but otherwise, it’s a kind of a waste. I always end up throwing those away. I feel guilty about this... is there a way we can prevent this??

Using Retuner, there is a setting for kChanceToBringFood under each individual kind of party type that would have to be examined and changed for each one. Should go something like Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.Situations > (name of party type). Will verify or correct that the next time I am in-game unless someone beats me to it.

Edit: Slight correction on the Retuner path. That should have been Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.Situations > (name of party type) > k(name of party type) Params > ChanceToBringFood.

I am usually delighted when my guests bring food. Even if it's boring compared to what's on offer and I might just stow it away in the fridge for later, a helping of herbs on top might help whatever it is be more palatable for my sims later in the week.

Made a slight correction to the Retuner path above. On the floaty question, that sounds like it's not about party food anymore so I would say sure, a new thread would be fine.

Retuner may be my favorite Nraas mod, there are so many options. I will change this ASAP, even though I do enjoy the leftovers they bring. I've been having the glitch where sims are stuck holding a plate so this should help with that too.
