My sims only use 1 door on community lots

I'm using the mercury high school lot by MurderPrincessK on modthesims. The lot has a few door to enter and exit from, but sims only ever go through either the front door or the 1 side door by the gym. I don't know why this is happening when their are plenty of doors. I have about 50 teen sims that go to school everyday so I try to teleport some of them there every morning to try and de-conjest the front doors. Sometimes just getting all the sims in the building takes several sim hours. What do?

That is how the game is programmed. Schools and other rabbithole lots tend to max out at around 25-30 attendees because of the single door usage. One solution is to provide more schools after enrollment reaches a certain point.

Another is to use AussomeDays' brilliant Additional Entry and Exit Doors mod from MTS. Note that there are variants available for different NRaas mod combos and not every single school building, depending on how it's designed, will work as well as the others.

Will that mod work with zerbu's career mod? I use it so my sims can interact with the school. The lot has a rabbit hole rug instead of doors.

Oh, hmm. I misunderstood then. I don't think the mod is going to have any impact on entry/exit for that kind of lot. You could try it, though.

Have you also tried double doors and archways if you happen to be using singles? Might there be any invisible objects on the lot that are blocking access to the additional doors? When no one is on the lot, try NRaas > MC > Object Stats > Non-Inventory, look for any objects with "jig" in the name, and select to Flush (force delete) them.

I would also check any and all objects that are near the doors in case some were placed with the MoveObjects cheat to get them closer to the door. If there too close they can block the door movement making the door unusable.
The Swan house in Moonlight Falls is a good example the front door of the house has a light that blocks the door movement when I moved the light and reset it as the front door they started using it instead of going to garage door all the time.

The only other thing I can think of is that they set the door by the gym as the front door which is not necessary for a community lot.
