How do you stop immigrated sims (RI) from taking the names of bin families and resident families? I seem to get a lot of names that already exist. I have that name tuning mod thingy but have never used it, mainly because I'm not sure how I have equal chance to all bin sims set to 0 and Disallow Bin by House all set to disabled, not sure what else to do.

It won't completely stop it you might still get 2 or 3
Nraas>SP>General>Options:Lots>Options:Immigration/Emigration>Immigrant Name Default is Mother/Father set it to Random

Thanks isittingbear, I have it set to father. I'll change it and see what happens.

I have that set to prompt me for names, so I can get new names in town.
